Welcome!Welcome to the Web Design Wizard from Freedom2. This service allows you to create your own website in a matter of seconds, simply by choosing a few simple options such as colour and style. This site requires cookies to be enabled on your browser; this means you can log in to the site and your computer will remember your details. However, if you are using an insecure computer (a shared machine, a schools machine that the students have access to, a machine in a cyber café and so on) please use the log out function as soon as you've finished updating your site. Most schemes will also require some style sheet and table background image support to get the best out of them, but have been tested on older browsers to make sure you get the maximum possible exposure for your website. About the Web Design WizardThis site allows you not only to create your site, but also to edit it over and over again. You can change the overall colour of the site at any point simply by selecting a new colour scheme from the comprehensive list provided and clicking on the refresh icon for your pages. You can even change the entire look of the site by selecting a new template, without losing your data! So if you want to change the look or colour of your site for a special occasion, and switch it back straight afterwards, you can do this across a whole site in seconds! We believe that there are two main ways to use this system. Firstly, you can use it to control your website - create, edit and maintain your site just using this system. Secondly, you could just use the system to play around with a few styles to create your site, and then download the result for editing with regular offline tools on your desktop. You could, of course, try a third option - use the system to create your site, make some changes offline, upload these changes and then use the system to make additional changes - but obviously this may not work, and can't be recommended. However, the system uses standard comments to mark out editable sections, which means that this third option is available at your own risk. |
